Hands On Interactive
Room
The Hands-On Exhibit
Room has ten stations in which kids and adults can experience
history by actually doing activities.
The stations include:
* Reading, ‘Riting & ‘RITHMITIC (doing
arithmetic problems on slate board like you would have in an one-room
school), playing the Indian bean game
* Then & Now Pricing Game (choose if the
price of the object is from today or 1958)
* Television Through the Years (decide
the order in which three TV's were made)
* The Logan County Museum Wampum Belt
(help construct an Indian wampum belt)
* McKee’s Trading Post Game (trade animal
furs for European goods)
* All Aboard (railroad hand/lantern
signals)
* Games of the Past (jacks, checkers, and
sewing cards)
We will change
some of the activities periodically. We hope our visitors of all ages
will have fun with this new exhibit. |
