About Us
NOTE: In Logan County, the Historical Society and the
Genealogical Society are separate entities within the same
building with separate files, phones, hours, workers, etc.
Generally: The Genealogical Society covers
"people" including births, deaths, marriages, cemetery and
court records. The Historical Society covers "places and
things" including city/village, township, and county
history in general, businesses, buildings, etc., plus some
family files.
